Marlin barrel band

Not having any luck finding front barrel band(and screw) for Model 1936, 30-30. Does anyone know if a band from a Model 336 would suffice? Thanks for any help

  The quickest way would be to go to gunpartscorp aka Numrich Arms and check to see if the parts numbers are the same.

  I don't thinks so, different style forearms, my Model 36 was made in 1947 but maybe a older model 336 will fit ???.

  thanks for responding, looking for front barrel band (keeps mag. tube and barrel ) in front of front sight not on forearm wood
