Your question is a bit vague, A stripped upper does not come with a bolt or magazine. If you are asking will your current bolt and magazines work with a .300 upper, the answer is yes.

Have to admit I'm also,a little unsure of where you're going here, but the only changes necessary to convert a 5.56 AR into a 300 blackout is, in essence, the barrel. Mags, buffer tube, bolt, furniture et al are interchangeable.

I take it he's asking if he buys an upper w/o BCG/CH, can he use the ones from his 5.56. In that case, the answer is yes-BUT. Considering the relatively low cost of a bolt, I don't recommend the practice.

    And why would that be?

Along with my .223 Rem/5.56 NATO AR's, I have an AR15 upper in .300 AAC Blackout (and I LOVE the Blackout).

The reasons that I LOVE the AR Blackout is that THEE only part that IS NOT compatable with a .223 Rem/5.56 NATO AR is the ammo because the Blackout is a .30 caliber (.308" diameter)round whereas the .223 Rem/5.56 NATO round is .224" in diameter.

Therefore you don't need special magazines, bolt carrier group, charging handle, etc. All you do need is a .300 AAC Blackout barrel to put on an AR15 upper, and you're good to go!

AND if you're into reloading (like I am) any .223 Rem/5.56 NATO brass that is underlength or has a split neck can be resized to .300 AAC Blackout! I have salvaged over 600 .223 Rem/5.56 NATO brass that otherwise would have been scrap!

    "And why would that be?"

If you're meaning the part about not recommending re-using the bolt, here's my thoughts.
The bolt is a high stress part.
The bolt "wears in" to the barrel extension on it's original barrel.
Re-using the bolt with a new barrel puts stresses on the bolt where it has worn to fit the original barrel extension.
Why try to save $70 and risk a failure(even if it's a very low risk)?

I'll admit that the 300AAC is a fairly low bolt thrust cartridge, but I still don't want to go on record as recommending the practice.

Yes I was wanting to know if I could use the existing 5.56 bolt and mags. Sorry if the question was vague but I think faster than I type. However Mobuck,s answer made a lot of sense about stress and wear.I have my answer and wish to thank all who responded, this is without a doubt the best and user friendly web site on the internet.

    Dave:

Sorry I made such a complicated answer to your question.

The simplified answer to your question is: you can use your AR 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem BCG and mags for a Blackout AR.
