    Have you contacted Pauline Muerrle?

She is a wealth of knowledge, and a fine personality.

I have been in the remains of the New Haven factory; I have parts that I scrounged off the floor. It is an amazing place.

Above is her website. As noted, she is a great wealth of information and an outstanding engraver.

I have shot NRA smallbore indoor matches in the Win. plant.
It was during the late 60's.
The place was OLD even back then.

quote:'m trying to locate some information regarding the Screw Room and it's location at the Winchester factory in New Haven CT. I have a couple books about Winchester and there's no mention about the room
Most of us just use the bedroom, but really, if you had a "screw room", would you be talking about it?

My guess is "no", you'd probably want to keep that secret! [;)]

I'd be careful how you asked Ms. Muerrle, too, or maybe she'll slap you in the face!

OK, seriously, what the heck is a "screw room"?

I sent Pauline an email the other day but haven't heard back yet.
I have an item from the room listed in GB auction 493 209 202. Any info would be appreciated
