Yes, it can be, has been, done.
You would need all of the DM related parts. If you change the stock it would be simple parts swaping. If you use the current stock the blind magazine well needs to be opened through the bottom and the bottom metal inletted into the stock.

The parts needed are shown in the stand alone box at lower right.
The 'magazine' in your current rifle is simply a liner w/feed lips that sets down into the inlet of the stock body. It isn't actually 'attached' to the receiver. The stock and action screws hold it in place.0 -
