Ever heard of LOST and DIEHL WORKS shotgun
A buddy just called and asked me if I had ever heard of LOST and DIEHL WORKS brand shotgun. The gun is a very well made SxS hammered shotgun with gold inlaying and engraving. He says the owners dad brought it back from Europe after WWII.
I told him it may be a Belgium made gun but I have never heard of the brand nor have any idea about value.

Need quality close up photos, of all the markings.
The Germans were forced to turn in all their firearms, after they lost the war in 1945. Our G.I.'s got the pick of the litter. On a lot of high value quality guns, that they brought back as war souvenirs.0 -

Thanks guys. I found a little bit info on Jost and Diehl. Since I did not handle the gun, I can't attest to it being a shotgun or maybe a combination gun. What I can't find is any price range on either. Any ideas at what some of these guns sell for? 0 -

Don't know about the other folks? But my crystal ball is in the shop. Need substantially more information, about the shotgun/drilling? Preferably quality photos, to identify/value it.0
