Ithaca SKB 500 disasembly
I have been half the day trying to find printable disassembly instructions for a SKB 500 12 gauge, with no luck. Can someone give me a link? My gunsmith is old school and doesn't use, or have a computer, so, I need to print it off for him. I found the parts list and schematic, but a disassembly/assembly guide would be nice.
He's been into this gun before, replaced the top barrel firing pin. This time, it won't cock, the left side cocking pin won't slide, it will rotate, but won't slide in or out.
Didn't mean to go on about the problem, a link to a printable instruction sheet would be a great help.

Steve has some SKB manuals, available on his site. Don't know if they are the one you're looking for? As they are PDF files, I didn't open them.

We got the stock off and found a broken hammer spring for the lower barrel. Replaced it with a modified spring from a pack of V springs that came from Brownell's. Gave Dan a generous quantity of Apple Pie, and all is right with the world. The clay birds need to very fearful.

It's so nice when a plan comes together and a happy ending is had by all 'ceptn maybe the clays, but then, what do they know? 0
