Winchester M-70 Hornet pre-64 value?

A friend has a Win. 70 super grade pre-64 Hornet . About 80+%. Does anyone have an idea of what it might be worth? Thanks Litetrigger

There where 20, 306 pre 64 model 70s built in 22 Hornet. I don't have the figures on what percentage of those where Super Grades, more than 20% would surprise me. Condition and originality are the keys. As Charlie stated, check the completed auctions, that will get you in the ballpark.
This is just my opinion, but, if it's in the graded condition you say it is, and if it's the unmolested real deal, maybe a little north of $2000.

I sold a 80% standard grade for $1900.

Add a grand for the Super Grade, in my opinion.

You will need to post some photos and add the bore condition.
80% really means nothing if the rifle has been altered, etc.
