Ruger guys help me out.
A 3 screw 30 carbine Blackhawk...shares stocks with which model(s)?
Super BH? New Model? Old Model only? What?

Which model the old one from the 70's or http://www.ruger.com/products/newModelBlackhawkBlued/models.html 0 -
Three screws indicates an Old Model.
Look on the grip frame, it will probably be marked XR3-RED, look for stocks to suit.
Brownells says the stocks are the same as for the New Model.

It has the XR3-RED (for redesigned) grip frame. The new models have the same size grip frame and the grips will interchange. That would include the Single Six, too. The original Blackhawks (the flat tops and the early single sixes) had a slightly smaller grip frame. The Super Blackhawk takes a larger grip. Of course since nothing is simple; the new Lipsey's .45 and the .44 Special that Ruger currently catalogs has the early XR3 grip frame size but has some modifications and the grips will not interchange with the old flat tops. 0 -
I have a 3 screw 30 carbine Blackhawk with a 4 digit serial number, circa 1968 unconverted and the grips on it interchange with single sixes, new model Blackhawks and such.
