The Mitchell Citation's were made in the 90's. Out of stainless steel. This was years after the original High Standard Co., went out of business in the mid 80's.

Michell was a former president of High Standard. He was only in business for a short time. The Texas Company, who owned the High Standard name and manufacturing rights. Sueded him and put him out of business.

Never had any hands-on experience with a Mitchell clone. They were only made for a short time in limited numbers. Make sure it's functional and accurate, before buying it. As It's a orphan, made by a company that been out of business more than 20 years.

Never heard of "The Texas Company".

EDIT: Got it, R-F. ... "High Standard, Interarms & AMT. Houston, Texas"

By taking your capitals literally in "The Texas Company" as thee full name of a company, caught me unawares. The only named memory served was for Texaco Oil. Which indeed sold products by that name eons ago, but never made firearms.
