    Not as common here as it is in Europe, also were made with a rifle barrel, sometimes 4 barrels. A three barrel gun was normally called a Drilling.

    Bet you dollars to donuts, it has a sleeve installed in a "bad" barrel.

    Check the extractor/ejector for signs of modifications.

    Of all the combo's it could be , it's the one that is inherently
    an explosion waiting for the first mistake.

    zactly. The pic I got looks like it a 16 but he says it was measured at a Cabelas and a 20. An intewresting piece just the same. Just never heard of one and dont know how popular it was. It might be sleaved. I havent had my hands on it yet.

    Not everyone can be trusted with simple measurements, years back I bought a 14 ga. Stevens.
    It was tagged as a 12.

    If it is correct as described it is unusual for US manufacture. Value would be just a guess but a nice conversation piece and if you can get it at a good price, why not.
