H&R 939 Sidekick disassembly
Does anyone know where to find a video or instructions to disassemble a H&R 939 (or any of the models that share innards)?
Mine won't advance the cylinder, which I assume has something to do with the lifter or cylinder pawl, but I have checked all my gun disassembly books and I don't have anything showing the H&R revolvers.
Thanks.

The "NRA Pistols and Revolvers, Firearms Assembly Guide" Has schematics and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns. On 3 H & R revolvers. The 922, 929 and Premier. How close these would be to your 939. I don't know? 0 -
the 929 and 939 are real close to one another so the nra firearms assembly book should be good to use, I will check mine to see for sure. 0 -
The diagrams are a good start. Thanks.
I am just concerned about whether there is one of those famous 'sequences' where you need to do one thing first, or the entire mess flies across the room.
Anyone know of a video? I have prowled around on YouTube and haven't found anything. I wondered if there is an H&R forum or club that might have some detailed info.
Thanks again for the help so far.0 -
Check on the Marlin owners forum, there is a forum for H&R stuff.
