Help on a Beretta 391
My Friend has the Beretta 391 and the end cap is stuck and no luck getting it to turn. Haven't been able to talk to him how it got put on and why it can't be unscrewed. Sitting in the corner with Kroil sprayed around the cap. Any ideas[?][?][?]

Wow sure has a lots of pieces. Padded jaws after you let the Kroil work for week. Muzzle down will help.

Likely crossthreaded. Difficult to get leverage on it with the barrel in the way.
The only thing comes to mind is a small strap wrench. Clamp the forend gently, into a heavily padded vise. Use solvent on the barrel nut to remove all the Kroil. Use powdered rosin on the strap and nut so the strap won't slip. Go to it. Hope for the best.0
