Stevens 67 series E & 67E compatibility
I bought an old Stevens 67 series E with the tang safety and slide lock lever at the rear of the trigger guard. My question is, will the trigger assembly for a 67E (safety button in the trigger guard, slide lock lever toward the front of trigger guard)work on my series E?
The stock isn't an issue. It needs to be replaced any way.
Are the two trigger assemblies interchangeable? Do they use the same ejectors? Same bolt and carrier?

I'm not exactly following your question but 67 to 67E or 67F is hit or miss. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Manufacturers/SavageStevensSpringfieldFox-33479.htm
There are 24 67's listed 8 of which have a schematic listed. Compare part numbers not the listed picture item number.0 -
Numrich is what I'm basing this on. Look at series E. This is what I have.

Now look at 67E. Can I just swap out the trigger assembly and use the appropriate stock?

Here's why I ask?

Nevermind! I answered my own question. I'd have to swap out the bolt and carrier to. Too much expense for a $30 beater shotgun. 0 -
not interchangeable like alot of stevens parts are model exclusive. 0
