All the information your looking for, as far as DOM and model. Is part of the serial number. The first digits is the actual serial number. The next 2 letters is the DOM code. After is the model/type code, which can be numbers or letters, or both.

You're going to have to give us everything after the first 4 numbers, in the serial number.

Sorry! seniorits is setting in.[xx(] "PY" is the date code for 1982. Can't find Citori model 113, on the Browning web site. They have at least 20 different codes, for various Citori's. I can't find 113? Might be my seniorits [xx(]. I don't know?

Got this off the net, about the choke marking on your shotgun. Kind of confusing if you ask me? Your barrels might be both modified?

He said "**" and "**-" for Modified and Improved Cylinder, pretty usual for the type.

The model designation is "Citori Superlight".

It gets more confusing, the Citori Superlight came out in 1982. In 1984 that configuration was cataloged as the Citori Sporter.

This can be confusing. If all else fails, call Browning, they are very helpful.
