id unmarked tang sight
I just aquired an old tang sight with no identification marks. Base is 2 1/8" long, height is 3", and two mounting holes are 1 1/8" center to center. 8 elevation lines on left side edge, exposed leaf spring that covers mounting screws and holds tang in upright position. 13/16 dia eye piece with serated edge. You turn eye piece to loosen and slide up or down. Tang is almost centered in base and is quality made. Any ideas ? Thanks bertman

Marlin tangs were drilled and tapped (many) for
the 1-1/8" CL to CL tang sights. Have no idea whom
manufactured yours. Good Luck.0 -
Can you post a few good pic's from several views?
added Make a junk email account (it will get spam). Open a photobucket account using the junk email account. Upload your pic's to that account. Then come here and paste the url for each pic you copied from photobucket into the spot for the url address using the 4th icon from the right at the top of the reply box. It is yellow with a sun and mountain plus a black triangle.
General directions http://forums.GunBroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=259294 I couldn't make hunt101 work but photobucket was almost painless. It helps to find the pic's on your computer first, copy them into a new file so they are easier to find when you browse so you can select them to up load.0 -
I would love to post pictures, but I have never had any luck loading them on this forum. 0
