they were good field shotguns, but don,t seem to take the pounding of skeet, trap and other games where thounsands of shells are fired in a short time and parts may be very hard to find. mr. myopic

Nice field gun, but value is about $500-600 max. (I don't know where you found $1500, but get it if you can)

Several sold in "good" condition in our area for about $300, just not much call for that type any more in a field gun, they all seem to want semi's.

I'd jump at anything over $500 cash.

"there was one on here double trigger was asking 1290 jus courios the difference"............wishfull (very) thinking, a single trigger will bring more than a double triggered shotgun.

I for one like double trigger Double Guns. European countries still make double trigger guns but seldom import them. Back 40 or more years ago the Beaver-Tail forearm and single triggers came in vouge.
in the U.S. market place I had double triggers shipped from Valmet for my model 412 S and also paid extra for a matched pair 20 Ga & 12 Ga O/U BERETTA model S56E Italian made guns years ago with double triggers hinged front trigger.Of course I am old school
Always grew up with double triggers I dont even have to think what trigger is what choke . The Zoli is a good not great gun should be good for hunting but might not be the best for skeet or trap shooters 100-200 shots a week.EDITLook very close at the gun there are TWO makers with last name ZOLI one is much higher grade that the other but I can't remember which is which. [:(]

I don't think Mike is being a smartA$$. He's stating what market trend is. Unless the gun is from a known big time maker, Italy included, double triggers are considered to be a lower grade than single selective triggers.

FWIW, I grew up shooting a double barreled 1912 Ithica Pidgeon grade 12 ga. ...with double triggers. Selective safety/single triggers came out much later than that.

Almost forgot! To answer the OP's question of value, Antonio Zoli's are considered "high dollar" here in America...relatively speaking. They make models that run from $800-$8K. So, without pics and a specific model number, it's hard to give a quantifiable number between those two that I just gave.

This is Antonio Zoli's trademark. Angelo Zoli is out of business

There are 2 located in Brescia, Italy.
    Antonio Zoli and Angelo Zoli.
Both make some real high price guns and some low price guns. Antonio Zoli made the "Delfino" which normally came with a single trigger and is common for a European gun, a double trigger. It was in 12 or 20 ga. with 26" or 28" barrels, blued with walnut stock.

The Delfino was about the lowest price gun that Antonio made. I agree with Mike above, the single trigger is more acceptable in the states and gets a higher price. If you have a Delfino I stand by my pricing above. If your buying I'd start at about $300, if your selling I'd take anything around $500.

    Best of luck
