I would like advice about the advisability of shooting these hot rounds in my S&W Model 1955(Model 25-2) and my dual cylinder Cimarron/Uberti Peacemaker clone SA.

  Your Smith N frame might handle +p for a while. Get a boat anchor Ruger in 45 Colt if you want to hotrod the 45.

  +P is definitely not suitable for ANY Colt Peacemaker or clone unless you'd like a kaboom.
