Is it a Texas Ranger commemorative? If so, it was made in 1974.

Commemoratives have to be NIB, with all paperwork and accessories. That they were originally sold with. To maintain their collectors value.

At 95% it's just a post 64, 94. Actually all the fancy engraving and gingerbread, turns off a lot of folks. You wouldn't get the money a plain jane 94 made in 74 would bring. Because of the bling, IMHO.

I agree about the value without box and papers. I have purchase several Comm. guns such as the 94 and the FS92 at far less then the value on a normal model. They shoot as good and they look pretty, why people pay less then a "plain-jane" I can't guess. I love finding one without the box and papers because I know no one else wants it and I can get a really good deal.

At 95% I would guess about $100 less then std. model.
