Sweet 16 A5 16ga interchangeability

Will the barrels interchange between a A5 16ga and a sweet 16?

Also how do you tell the difference between the barrels when they are off the gun?

  The barrels will interchange as long as they are not the shorter chambered 2 1/2" shells of the old ones, the extractor is different.
  This is not true of remington version.

  The barrel of the sweet 16 should end with an "S" prefix.
