Winchester model 100 recall

I just picked up a Winchester Model 100 rifle in .308. Later production with pressed checkering. I know Winchester recalled these years ago due to a firing pin breakage problem. The last owner had it for years and never heard about the recall. My question is do they still do the repairs, the cost (if any), and how to contact Winchester? Will they send parts or do I have to send the gun to them?
    TIA!!

THANK YOU, Winchester would also send new firing pins to gunsmiths and pay them to make the up-grade.

Anything like this related to the Model 88?

The model 88 is a lever action gun. It will not fire out of battery.

Even if the firing pin was broken, {not likely in the 88} you would
be locking the action shut as the gun fires.

    No worries with the 88.

    Some reading about those guns.......

It seems some pics on that link above, don't load.

I believe Leroy has deleted them or lost them.
Go here and ask about it.

    You're all welcome.

A long time ago, when Me and Al Gore were inventing the internet, we fought over what to call items. I wanted to call them "bookmarks",
Al wanted to call them "favorites".
We compromised and invented different browsers.

I got the best gun/car/electrical bookmarked sites.

Al got the best happy midget porn favorites sites.
