loading gate/spring Marlin 1889

Have been unable to locate a loading gate (aka spring) for a Marlin 1889 32-20. This is the first model with side loading.
Will any other Marlin (Safety) loading gate fit?
Any known part location?

  It looks very similar to an 1893 Marlin but not sure if it's the same. If you know someone close by see if you can pull the bolt out of it & compare the spring & door.

  Found info that the 1893 has unique loading spring.
