Charles Daly O/U HELP
Gentlemen, i have a Charles Daly O/U 12 ga that I would like some help on. I cannot seem to find out any info on them since they are out of business. This gun has the words MOD FIELD 12ga 3 INCH MADE IN SPAIN stamped on barrel. What my question is is this. How do you know if it is a MIROKU model and if it is not, what model is it? Obviously it is a field model but I cant find any info on it or a price. Sorry for not having pics up but any info will help. THanks

"Charles Daly"....NEVER MADE A GUN, EVER. They imported a lot of different ones with their name on them. If yours has 'made in Spain' on it it is not a 'MIROKU'. 0 -
i don,t know about the quality of the CD spanish imports, but i have a CD imported model 500 double barrel made by miroku and it has the same quality as my browning shotguns made by miroku. eastbank. 0 -
If the CD says "made in Spain" it is not a Miroku (it would say Made in Japan). 0 -
any rough idea on value? cant find any info on it at all, not even with a serial number...I fully understand if it were a MIROKU model it would be worth more but any ideas will help 0 -

Without quality photos. Really difficult to identify and value, your shotgun.
Best thing for you to, IMHO. Is to check out the completed auctions on GunBroker, for Spanish O/U shotguns. Many different importers, sold field grade Spanish shotguns, over the years. Hopefully you will find one or more that have sold. To give you a ballpark value for yours.0 -
You might want to delete your post if it does not have a serial # unless you can Prove it was made before 1968/ Other than that date or before by law all guns must have a serial number unless some one
removed it that is against the law.0 -
Here is something that might be helpful.
You need to find that serial number on this list , it is a
pre 1976 guns made in Japan. Anything sold by Charles Daly after that date apparently was made by Sabatti of Italy & is a totally different gun . suggest you contact KBI directly at www.charlesdaly.com who now has the rights to use the Charles Daly name.

The "Made in Spain" O/U's are field grade shotguns manufactured by Zabala Hermanos of Spain. 0
