have a styer mannlicher luxus .243 cal-trying to find serial # date-- any info where to look? # 119700 Thanks to all--

One of the Austrian proof marks will be a date. Prior to the early 80's they used a 2 digit numerical date. After that they went to a alpha letter code.

This is for their pistols, might be same for the rifles.
