Savage experts help please
Ok so I hope this makes sense since its nearly impossible to post pictures here(for me anyway it is).
I picked up an older Savage 110 rifle from a friend and found that the safety was rusted and locked up. In removing it there were several pieces of the trigger, sear etc. I ordered a replacement safety and watched a video on how to put it back together but my rifle has an extra part.
The cross pin that locks the trigger/sear into the barreled action goes through the bolt release and through the circular spring and holds it to the receiver. I have a small round piece that has a hole in it that looks like this pin goes through to possibly help hold this spring in place. The video was no help because it didn't have this piece. Any help would be very appreciated so I can put this rifle back together. thanks.

ok so I found another help video that shows it being a bushing that does in fact go where I thought it did. It seems like a huge pain to get it in though. 0 -
They have about 30 schematics for various versions of the 110.

Not necessarily familiar with the 110, but with reassembly of many parts on one pin; a slave pin or punch will hold everything in place as you insert the factory pin and push the helper out of the way. 0 -
The spacer goes on the inside of the spring on the right.I use an old rifle brass, 243 was big enough and square the mouth to fit the spring. Makes it easier to push the spring down to get the pin through it. 0
