cerrakote and other finishes??

When a gun has cerrakote, or another type of finish applied does the new finish tend to fill in the factory lettering? Thanks.

  Ditto with DuraCoat. When you follow the directions it goes on smoothly and in very fine layers. If you get carried away and spray one spot until it drips, then you will fill stamping, etc. I have had very good luck with both of the rifles I have DuraCoated, a .300 Weatherby and a .340 Weatherby. Both have Gentry muzzle brakes and the coating shows no sign of coming off at the brake ports or any where else. You just have to be patient and FOLLOW the directions and you will get a good durable finish with all the factory lettering showing clearly.

  The same with KG-Gunkote.
  We've had very good luck with it.
  Put it on thin with a air brush [;)]
