Located a Marlin pump in 32-20. Has a two piece fore arm that is checkered, round barrel, and safety in the front of the trigger guard.What is it?

  "27 S", very uncommon according to my reference. Made for a short time, after W W I.

  Made from 1920 to early 1930s in 25-20, 32-20 and 25 Savage rimfire. Usually found in well used condition; they were tools in those days. Most, given expected condition, are not very expensive (maybe $300-$600). They are fun to shoot though and reasonably accurate. Mine is in 25-20 and accurate enough to take turkeys with headshots at reasonable distances. Enjoy.
