Charlie might be right on, in his assessment. At a couple of the local gunshows, recently. A guy has set up selling Dan Wesson revolvers and their accessories/barrels etc.

I talked to him some, regarding them. I was fascinated with one, that was described to me as the "Pork Chop". I had never run across a gun before, with a handle like that. Turned out the "Pork Chop", is a specific type of Dan Wesson barrel. According to him their is very substantial collector demand/value. For the older ones. Specially in the kit, as you describe.

The thing is, their is like 3 different generations of them. You got to know what your doing, and what you are buying.

If it is in very good condition $900 is a very good price. There fetching $200 on fleabay for the case alone. Actually $900 is a steal.
On second thought if you don't buy it let me know who the seller is and I'll buy it.

Nice. BTW, that "combat" style grip is my favorite. I use it in 357 on everything from the 2" heavy vent to the 8" light vent. very comfortable, nice "hang" to it.

You done good...real good, actually, by coming here and asking. Most of those barrels sell for between $300.00-500.00, alone. You got that at least 50% off the going price.

It is a piece of cake to make a barrel wrench, but the factory one would make your Pistol Pack complete. You will find it is one of the most accurate 22 revolver's you have ever seen.

If you cant find a factory wrench look here. I had no choice needing one for my .41 mag. I also got the muzzle break that screws on in place of the barrel nut, it works great.
