When I had mine, it was Winchester Silver Tip. 0 -
When I had one, years back. I used RWS. As I felt the European ammo was loaded hotter, that the U.S. made ammo. It was their full metal jacket, ball ammo. Never had a functioning, or rim lock problems from it. That I can remember. 0 -
Mine seems to prefer the lighter projectiles.
My best performance has been with 60gr bullets, but they are hard(er) to find sometimes.
It will shoot the 71gr o.k., but bullets keyhole at 7 yards.0 -
Concur with the Silver tips working well although I found that Seller and Belliot seemed to consistently work with no issues in both a First and a Second Gen P32. Don't recall ever having issues with FTF with either gun and have been carrying one or the other for several years.
I never use hollowpoint ammunition without using a rim lock preventer, I have had rim lock issues with hollowpoints. So, since I so seldom use it, I just have a magazine dedicated to hollowpoints with a rimlock preventer installed and typically only carry ball ammo in the P32.

Its been years, but the two of these I've tried were unreliable with several different ammo types. Sorry. . .I don't remember what type, but at least one of them was a hollowpoint.
Problem might have been "rimlock". . .might have been insufficient pistol break-in. Might have been both.
In any case, my suggestion is to gravitate towards FMJ ammo.
In general FMJ ammo tends to most reliable, it should help alleviate "rimlock" from shorter hollowpoint rounds moving back and forth within the magazine, and (IMO) solid/FMJ type bullets are the best choice for relatively low power rounds like .32ACP anyway, due to (hopefully) better penetration.0
