What is the general opinion of the Tikka T-3 Light. (25-06 in this case)/ Accuracy, reliability, etc. THX

I have sold many of the T-3 lights, mostly in stainless. I have not seen one yet that does not shoot MOA or better.
The triggers are crisp and clean out of the box, ergonomics are good, reliable feeding, and a great over all value.
There is only one thing I can say negative about them, and that is you have to take the safety off, to load, or unload the chamber. But then, firearms safety rules "treat every firearm as if it were loaded", and " always keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction", come into play.

I have on 338 Federal my biggest complaint is the price they want for spare magazines 0 -
They are inherently accurate, have nice triggers, and those bolts.....butter smooth!
I don't have any T-3's, but have a few of the Tikka 595/695's and they are awesome guns!

I own one in 300 Win Mag. It shoots great and feels right. It has the blued barrel. Many of the stainless ones were recalled due to barrel blow-ups. Don't buy a used stainless one without calling Tikka first.
The price on used Tikka T3's is often very reasonable. I only paid $325 for mine in excellent condition at a pawn shop. New ones run at least $200 more. If you find one in 6.5x55 Swedish, grab it as they seem to be rare and sell for high prices.0 -
I am very happy with mine in SS 7mm-08. Sub MOA, good trigger and feels good in my hands. Spare mags are a little too pricey. 0
