This gun needs some repairs, however, I cannot
locate a schematic for any brand SxS with exterior
hammers. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

I'm think Hurcules is store brand but the gun was made by someone else like Iver Johnson.
Send for a copy of Dixie's Gun Works Catalogue. They have pages of hammers and other parts. http://www.dixiegun.com/ Lots easier to scale from a paper print.

Look at all the SxS schematic's you can find, they are more or less similar in design and function0 -
Corrected spelling is Hercules. Stevens 5100 made for Montgomery Wards.

Wards sold shotguns by three manufacturers under the name "Hercules": Iver Johnson, Stevens, and Harrington & Richardson.
The Stevens 5100 is not what you have, Dr. Juan, because the 5100 is hammerless.
All three companies made side-by-side hammer doubles, but I could not find out whether they all sold them under the brand name Hercules. Stevens had a box lock side-by-side called model 235. Its side lock hammer gun was numbered model 250.
You can go to the web site recommended by 11b6r and check out those Stevens model numbers and also explore under the other two manufacturer names to see which parts lists look most like your gun.0
