C&H Decapping Die ?
I have acquired an old set of C&H dies for .44 Mag and can't figure out how the decapping pin is removed. It's not broken but has been bent. I'd like to replace it or get some spares. Don't want to force it and damage anything. I have only used Lyman and Lee dies and they are easy to replace pins. I have searched online and can't find anything about removing the pin.
Anyone? Help please.
No place to unscrew pin. Tapped on it slightly after using some Kroil
and it did not move. Didn't want to risk breaking it.

EDIT, it just might be a one piece rod.
This might be your best solution, http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Piece-Die-set-44-Mag-cal-C-H-Die-Co-/171683139638?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27f91cd0360 -
Looks to me it's a replace the whole rod design. 0 -
I may be over simplifying this, but why not just straighten the pin? 0 -
I guess I will be better off to get one of the universal deprimer dies and use this one to resize.
Dangit. That one on ebay is a better buy than I got with these.[:(]
Thanks for the reply.[8D]0 -

Yes, it can be straightened. I'm just thinking ahead. It's not broken and may not ever, but I like to have spare parts for the chance that when and if I need it, it will be at hand. And since I didn't have any instructions with the dies, I can't see how to change it. I never considered that I would be unable to find them online.
Live and learn. Stick with RCBS, Lyman, Redding, Hornady, and Lee from now on.
Thanks guys.[8D]0 -
It should unscrew. Then the sleeve should come off.[?][?]

Got it soaking in Kroil right now. May try another little tap to see if it slides out.
SUCCESS
Score one more for Kroil.
Screwed it out by hand. It was cruddy inside but Kroil did it!0
