Marlin 27s question

can you tell me how I determine the caliber of my 27s??? 25 rim or 25-20? No markings I can find unless you tell me where to look??

  The caliber should be on the barrel, just in front of the receiver.. You could also look at the bolt-face.. The center-fire pin will be round, and centered.. The rim-fire would be off-centered, and flat, like a small screwdriver tip..

  Mine is stamped on the barrel by the receiver.
