IF it was factory it should be marked on barrel,,I believe the ones I had through the years all were marked 22 L.R. ? Never seen anyone with a marked 22WRF cylinder or barrel?

I ran into a Colt Officers Model Match, that was bubbaed couple years ago. The guy that was selling it, was quite honest about it though. For S & G I opened up the cylinder and checked out the chambers. It didn't appear to be a professional job. Wasn't even apparent if it was done with a reamer, rather than a drill bit?

Nowadays a Colt Officers Model Match, is a expensive collectors item. Shame that somebody got a wild hair, up you know where. And screwed it up. I imagine a replacement cylinder, would be difficult and pricy to come by.

The H&R 926 was never made in .22WRF. The earliest model of the .22 Special 7-shot was made in .22WRF. That's the only model revolver I can remember that H&R chambered in .22WRF.

    babun,
I stand corrected. I forgot about the model 999 Sportsman in .22WRF. I still stand by my original statement that the model 926 was not chambered for the .22WRF, but the .22WMRF. That list has some errors. I don't know where you got it, but the H&R .22 Special was a model of a firearm, and didn't mean it shot .22WRF ammunition. The .22 Special that chambered .22WRF ammo was roll-marked 22 W.R.F. CTG.
    Thanks for the input!

That is the correct calibers for the H&R model 650. We're talking about the H&R revolvers that are chambered for .22WRF.
