22 WRF fired in 22 Magnum revolver???
I've fired the WRF rounds through a magnum rifle with no problems, but the box of shells says not recommended for revolvers.
Other than maybe fouling the cylinder to a depth where a 22 magnum shell wouldn't seat, what could the complications or implications be?

None... it is perfectly safe to shoot the 22 WRF cartridge in any firearm that was made for the 22 WMR. It is essentially identical to firing a 22 Short in a 22 Long Rifle. The chamber pressure is significantly lower for the 22 WRF versus the 22 WMR. 0 -
Thank you Mr. Bert H for your speedy reply. 0 -
One minor issue- the shorter round can build up a ring of fouling in the cylinder that makes it difficult to load .22 WMR, much like .38 Special and .357 Magnum. Clean the cylinder well, no problem. 0
