What is it worth? 0 -
Since there are no holes drilled into it, and the stripper clip guides have not been ground off, it would be a great candidate for restoring to military configuration.
Check the auction side for Mauser receivers and going prices. I would hazard to guess it's worth about 75-125 dollars.0 -

You would need a complete rifle to identify it's Luftwaffe heritage. It would have an 'L' stamped on the stock with the accompanying waffenamts.
Most K98s will have an 'H' for Heer on the stock to identify their Army lineage.0 -
