T/C Contender stock

Is there a way to tell if a stock fits the older or newer Contender frames if you don't have one to try it on?

  For Contender's you have 2 different choices, The old first generation and the G2, the difference is in the grip angle, but honestly the best way to tell the difference between the two is to test fit on a frame.
