Beretta 92FS Compact Magazines

Thinking about a picking up a little brother...but common magazines is a huge selling point for me.

Are the Compact and Full size magazines interchangeable? I don't see different magazines in the literature, but the Compact is .15 inches less tall. Thanks.

  The compact magazine holds 13 rds.. It will not lock into the full-size 92fs.. The full-size will work in the Compact, but will extend below the frame..

  Thought I'd add this.. I use the XGrip on PPK/S mags for use in my PPK.. I just checked, and it looks like they're available for the Beretta Compact..

  Beretta authorized a co. to make grips & rubber adapters to go around the mag & fill the gap where the mag extended below the grip. I'm thinking the name is something like Farrar???
