Have any of you owned or shot one? Opinions?

  I'm watching a pretty nice dehaan over at a local gun shop. I'm ok with the price but what I'm not sure of is quality and reputation. Anyone want to offer thoughts on that?

  If none of our folks, can give you an actual hands-on assessment. You might consider posting, to a couple of the shotgun specific on-line forums.
  
  It's been quite awhile. But as I recall they were called "Shotgun World" and "Double Gun Journal". Probably find them, by GOOGLEing if they are still in existence.

  Made by Huglu, they make the CZ shotguns too. Dehaan uses their guns and builds them to order.
  Huglu, at one time, was about one step better than the crap for shotguns produced in Turkey. A couple of decades ago they decided they wanted to compete with the big makers, and hired some Browning employees to completely revamp their production and quality. They make a quality shotgun now.
