Marlin 1893 & 1894 saddle ring stud staple specks
Does anyone know the specifications for the Marlin 1893 and Marlin 1894 Saddle Ring & Stud - Staple?
Or just a good reference to check. Any information appreciated.
The M1893 used the U shaped Staple.
Receiver Hole Diameter for the Staple:
( One individual has told me it is: 21/128)
Staple Wire Diameter: (Probably the same as the Hold diameter?)
Distance holes are apart:
(One individual reported that the Outside to Outside distance of the holes is: 67/128,
and the Inside to inside distance is 27/128. This would make the holes 5/32 diameter.)
Saddle Ring Wire Diameter:
Saddle Ring Diameter:
The M1894 used the screw in stud.
TPI for the Screw in Stud: (Numrich states it is 8-40 TPI.)
Saddle Ring Wire Diameter:
Saddle Ring Diameter:
The Marlin 336 used a screw in stud with a thread of 10-32 TPI according to some refs.
Many/Most Marlins used a Brass Ring?
I have all of these measurement for the Winchester 92 & 94 etc., however the Marlin was slightly different.
