S&W serial date?

S&W, HE, Third Model, .44 Spec. SER/ 2837X, Nickel. Picked up today. Finish has some rust places, barrel and cylinder excellent. Action great with tight lock up. Man, the action on this thing is smooth. Ordered the book tonight, but would appreciate someone checking their's for DOM.
