2 Uzi Questions Please?
2 Uzi Questions Please?
I actually have a Century Arms "UC9" AND the .45 ACP conversion kit in semi-auto. The first is about a bolt open feature after last shot fired? The original purchase was a 9MM Model A. When I got the .45 ACP conversion kit one of the items was it needed a Model B Bolt and firing pin assembly in .45 ACP. It appears that the conversion kit bolt has a "slide open" apparatus, but I'm NOT certain if that is actually it. Also, by accident I'm certain, the conversion bolt SOMETIMES stays open, but not too often. The question is do either the Model A or Model B come with this feature?
Question 2 is about available magazine pouches for the large capacity (22-Round) .45 ACP? Does anyone have an idea where I can obtain the pouches that will completely cover and close for these Mags? It would be greatly appreciated - as always! (I've been to about every known Uzi parts and accessories websites that exist. I can find all kinds for all different capacity mags in 9MM.)
Best Regards,
Mike

Can't help with your first question. I did get run the first 45 ACP suppressed full auto Uzi in America (so they told me).
M-3 mag pouches should work for question 2. http://www.amazon.com/Grease-45ACP-Triple-Stick-Magazine/dp/B00BWX5N2Y0 -
Best to ask about Uzis where they talk about it 24/7... Ask the question over their. Rover
Will have the answer you seek... [:)]0 -
I bought a 45 AC conversion kit from CDNN long time ago. It came with bolt, barrel, and 20 round magazine. At the time I had an Action Arms Model A in 9mm. The conversion wouldn't work on the A unless I switched out a few firing/safety mechanism parts but decided not to do so. Later I picked up an inexpensive cheaply made butchered Norinco Model B Uzi copy. The conversion kit worked fine with the Norinco but it never held the bolt open after the last round was fired. It was fairly accurate at 50 yards using PowerPistol and 200 grain Laser Cast bullets (Ones advertised as containing a little silver in their lead) - 5 shot 1.5 inch groups at 50 meters shooting from a sitting position with my back against a truck tire. The Norinco with its 9mm kit got traded off for a surprisely accurate with my reloads Ruger Mini-30 stainless - really lucked out there but then that's another story. 0 -
Thanks guys - you imput was helpful!
