IMR 5744 powder
I am looking for IMR 5744 powder for my Savage ML II muzzleloader. Does anyone know where I can buy some. I have tried the usual sources, Cabela's, Midway, Natchez with no hope of success. Help.

What you must mean is AA 5744, great for cast bullets. Easy to find if you ask for the right brand. 0 -

I use this one in several centerfire hard kicking guns, even magnums rifles for reduced/low recoil accurate loads. (Usually around 30/30 velocities and very accurate with the correct recipe)
