"However, about a third of them will be released to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for immigration violations. Given Obama's prosecutorial discretion in that arena, too, don't expect them to be deported anytime soon."
Will ICE consider the "drug" violation that got their A$$ in prison in the first place an "immigration violation", I doubt it, then there would be no " prosecutorial discretion" but to deport.
This is what comes of letting Agencies and Commissions write laws. (the Sentencing Commission's reductions).
Perhaps the level of crime and violence has not reached the desired level to achieve the next step in the "fundamental transformation"

guess the court system that adjudicated these as deserving punishment was WRONG and oblamer is dispensing executive justice from his throne on Mt. Olympus....deportation is a legal action asleep at the wheel 0
