I'll vote for anybody that will stand up on TV and call the politicians in Washington...STUPID! He's saying what all the sane people in this country are thinking.

But he needs to fix his brain thought flow.

Shortly after starting, he can't finish any thought without diverting his train of speech. Blah blah blah me me, the establishment.. "hey there's a friend sitting over this side, he is worth 5 billion! But you don't want to borrow money from him...he wants to be paid back!"

Great way to bring more "regular folks" onboard.

I wonder what a serious briefing for him would sound like?

I'd tentatively vote for him in the sense that he's on the right side of the issues... but all the people who criticized Obama for being all style and no substance, Trump is so far much the same. A combination of Perot (identifying issues but issuing no real solution) and Obama (appealing to the masses), if he doesn't put out some real proposals soon as to HOW he'd fix these issues, I don't know as I could support him.

He started out entertaining, then seemed to lose the crowd when he went on about how much he is sacrificing for all of us. He is feeding into the anger of the people, the question is how long that will last.

What issues are the other candidates raising? The Republicans created the popularity contest.. Where does Walker stand on anything? Do you really believe Chris Christie has a political backbone. Rand Paul does have political convictions but people do not buy his show.

Trump is showing what the low informational voter wants. He didn't make it this far by just being an idiot.

People have short memories. They can't seem to remember how he supported the Clinton's and democratic party in general. Hell, just last week he told O'Reilly how we need to help those poor refugees by letting them into the country and then the next day tells Hannity that the US needs to take care of our own and that they should stay in their own country, once he realized his initial statement wasn't so popular. Typical flip flopper.quote:Originally posted by Captplaid

Leaves one to consider the possiblity that when the US invested blood and treasure in another country, he would be assured we were PAID BACK IN FULL WITH INTEREST!

    THIS:

Donald Trump rocked a Texas crowd of presidential supporters, telling the thousands who gathered that the United States has become a "dumping ground" for the rest of the world's undesirables.

Pull back the shiny, slick cover that is Donald Trump and you will see he is nothing more than a typical NY republican like Bloomberg & Senator King. He will say one thing and do another. Gurantee he would sign antigun legislation. He will be as big a disaster for this country as Obama has been. He has financially supported Democrats but calls himself a Republican? He plays both sides buying politicians. If it suited him he would run as a Democrat.
You guys voting for him are being played thinking he is all for the common man.

Well I'll vote for who I like in the primaries. If Trump is on the top of the ticket come November, if he hasn't elucidated his policy stances and proposals to move forward beyond rhetoric... well hell no I won't vote for Hillary or Biden or Sanders or whatever other crapheap the Dems push to the top.... but at the same time? I used to think like you do. After the result of Bush, McCain, and Romney, all moderates who wanted to be Democrat lite... I'm done. I'll vote for Trump if he has solid proposals, yes; but his rhetoric combined with an iffy background tells me that when he gets to the general election, I'm either going third party or voting issues only, and local candidates.

I understand the mentality of anything but another democrat, and respect it. I just can't support it any more if I don't agree that the Republican running for office is going to reverse some of this nonsense.

Trump would make a horrid POTUS when comparing "style" to the ones we have had over the past century.

Maybe that would be a good thing, time will tell. I give him about a 1/4 of one percent chance of getting the nomination. I see Cruz, Carson or maybe Forina on the (R) turd list ticket.

While I truly admire your stance, jonk, not voting for whoever is at the top of the Republican ticket will more than likely result in a win for Hillary. Sometimes ya really do have to try and pick up the turd by the clean end...
