I didn't see the "loophole". Just lack of enforcement.
If Mexico has a problem with firearms crossing the border illegally maybe they should build a fence.0 -

Just wait when they start be headings over here. The indigenous population over there in Mexico are backwards and praise war lords as saviors.
Our government is ignoring mass murder over there while supplying illegal firearms to flow to them.Believe it or not.

May not be manufactured in the U.S. and then infers that ALL were trafficked from U.S.
How would cutting off U.S. access to foreign weapons solve ANY of Mexico's problems?
All I see is an increase demand in domestic manufactured weapons. Drug cartel demand will not go down. They will simply pay more.
Are we to assume there is no other possible way for the cartels to get weapons into Mexico other than across our boarder.

How would blocking imports effect "beheadings" here, other than another push make the people vulnerable.

I think this is mostly true. But ignoring, indifferent or willing to capitalize on the violence to advance their agenda.
The Government is most likely not supplying (other than F&F). But why would we assume they do a better job of preventing anything from leaving than they do from entering?0 -
a lot of mexican police and soldiers seem to lose a very large amount of there firearms, and out government gives them more. mr myopic. 0
