I have a Gallager carbine with SN# 421, does anyone know what unit or soldier it was issued to. Thanks Tom

  Either:
  1) Advise us of any unit markings.
  2) Pass the crystal ball.

  Most of the Gallager's were issued to Union cavalry. That would be where to start your search.
