Identify this Handguard

Just found this handguard in a box of parts. There is no model marked on it.
Overall it is 9 1/16" long.

  Father-in-law did not mark tons of parts he had. I am slowly getting thru them.

  Yes, Mini 14..... early model. The plastic handguards have been in use for a long time. That wood guard may not work on a newer gun, but you can try it and see if it fits.
