Can anyone tell me when a Savage model 99 308 cal. serial # 941875 was made. Any info is always appreciated.

  Im hoping someone can tell me when a savage 99 ser.#1142xxx was made.
  Also,is there a pre-year these rifles are more collectable such as a pre-64 winchester model 94?

  Need "Lever Boss Code". Single capital letter, marked on lever pivot point.
