Century Arms M70 tight bolt carrier
I bought the M70 with the single stack bolt and bolt carrier. It would not blow back the bolt carrier after firing and I had to manually pull the bolt carrier back with some force, the resistance coming from the back of the rifle on the rails at the very back. Or not having enough to blow back from ejecting a spent round at all. When pulling the bolt carrier back to insert a new round, I would have to force the bolt carrier into past the magazine loading port into the reunion to load. So I ordered a new M70 double stack bolt and bolt carrier. Its still just as hard and resistant as ever. As if metal is fighting metal. Its not the recoil spring. What is a fix besides sending to century? I've sent a tantal to the butchers and never again. Would a course fine sanding on the rails be a solution? Or, what is going on here?

pull out all the internals and try just the bolt for movement, and so on and so on until you find the problem.................. 0 -
Bunch of U Tube Videos on the M 70. This is only one of them. I would go over them all, to see if they will give you any help you with problems.
