Colt New Frontier/1917
Customer brought in a gun with the firing pin bushing missing. Can't find one on the parts market. Posted it on the wanted side.
Looking for a firing pin bushing or schematic, in order to make one.

Good luck, I can't even find a picture of one. I think they are screwed in from the cylinder side with like 2 threads.
I have seen other frames with bushing installed to correct the excessive dry fire and improperly removed material issue.0 -
Can't help you with the bushing. But if it's a 44-40 dating to 1917? It's a Frontier. The New Frontiers, were adjustable sight SA's, dating to the 1960's. 0 -
It's called a recoil plate, and it's a press fit. Installed mine with a brass punch down the barrel. When it's fully seated, it has to be stoned down flush with the recoil shield. They are a PITA to fit!
